In January 2023, Sarah Durst joined Farris Engineering as Marketing and Business Development Coordinator. She joined in the capacity of the Colorado Springs office to fulfill the marketing and business development role for the Front Range region. Sarah has been a part of the architecture engineering and construction industry for the past three years – working with prominent firms within the Federal sector.

“We believe that Sarah will be an essential addition to the Farris Engineering family, and we are happy to welcome her to our marketing and business development team,” said Farris Business Development Executive Darin Cielocha.

Apart from work, Sarah is also an avid outdoorswoman – snowboarding, fishing, hiking, camping, and much more in her free time. She is also a volunteer with her local church and serves on Board of Directors for the SAME Pikes Peak Post as the Communication’s Chair and is a strong believer in supporting our military and veterans in her line of work.

Her volunteer work with SAME Pikes Peak Post over the past three years pertains to email marketing, signage, and communications of monthly membership meetings, managing sponsorships and signage for the annual golf tournament as well as the SAME/USACE Rocky Mountain Industry Day. During her volunteer hours with SAME, Sarah was the recipient of the Professional Young Member Award for 2021 and recently was awarded the 2022 Pikes Peak Post President’s Award for her outstanding leadership and accomplishments.
