In September, Maxwell Albrecht joined Farris Engineering as the newest mechanical engineer in our Colorado Springs, CO office. New to the architecture, engineering, and construction industry, Maxwell attended the University of Colorado – Colorado Springs and received his Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering, with a minor in aerospace engineering. He has 4+ years of experience working in dynamic thermodynamics, fluid mechanics and collaborating in team settings.

“Max brings a lot of talent and curiosity, and we can already tell he’s a great addition to our team,” said Ashley Davis, Farris Engineering Vice President, and Fire Protection and Mechanical Engineer.

Apart from work, Max is an avid outdoorsman – fishing, hunting, hiking, and biking in his free time. In addition, he is also a basketball coach at the local YMCA. He recently became a member of The American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) within the State of Colorado.

One thing he has been looking forward to the most since starting with Farris is working on large commercial mechanical design projects. The Farris team is looking forward to watching him grow and develop as an employee and overall young professional in the A/E/C industry.
