Job Guerra, Stephen Roitsch, and Michael Wallace Become Accredited Tier Designers

Job Guerra and Stephen Roitsch of the Colorado Spring office along with Michael Wallace of the Omaha office completed the course and passed the exam. Each of them is now an “Accredited Tier Designer”.

Uptime Institute is the Standard bearer for Digital Infrastructure performance (i.e. data center reliability). Uptime’s Tier Standard has been used in the design, construction, and operations of thousands of sites (data processing facilities, server rooms, etc.) in over 100 countries.  The Accredited Tier Designer (ATD) program provides instruction to engineers and design professionals involved in the design of data centers on the practical application of the different Uptime Tier level certifications.  Although Tier certifications are only performed by Uptime, it is important for designers to understand what design strategies are needed to achieve the Tier goals of clients.  Completion of the initial four-day intensive course (webinar), and passing the rigorous ATD exam, results in the student receiving the formal ATD designation; the minimum basis for all Tier designers.
