Kate has two decades of experience working in the architecture/engineering industry. Starting as an administrative assistant and working her way up to Controller at Farris Engineering; Kate appreciates all the different aspects of how to run a business on the accounting and operations side.

Kate doesn’t fit any mold or stereotype associated with being an accountant. Extroverted, verbose and ridiculously passionate, Kate loves to work with people and enjoys talking with people about accounting. What a strange combination!

Outside of work, a majority of Kate’s time is occupied in one way or another by her Pembroke Welsh Corgi named Willie. She and her husband enjoy taking Willie on vacations in the mountains of Colorado.
