Derek attended University of Nebraska at Omaha, graduating in 2016 with a master’s in architectural engineering with a focus on electrical and lighting design. He has experience designing electrical systems for various facility types and has completed work on lighting, power, security, and telecommunication systems.

In his spare time Derek likes to spend time with his family, home improvement projects, or outside working on the garden and lawn.
