With a solid foundation from Vocational Technical Institute in Mitchell, SD, Dave began his career journey as a Journey Sheetmetal Worker through an apprenticeship program in South Dakota. Initially focused on HVAC trades, he honed his skills in fabricating and installing ventilation ductwork. Over the years, Dave seamlessly transitioned into project management and HVAC design, contributing to his expertise in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety cost estimates at Farris Engineering. He also lends his proficiency in plumbing design, showcasing a diverse skill set acquired through years of dedicated experience.
Dave enjoys playing guitar and bass, currently performing in a local acoustic trio. Outside of music, he and his wife cherish time with their pets—puppies, kitties, and chickens. They also like to ride bikes, exploring the scenic Wabash bike trail together.
