In May 2022, James Quinn, former director of facility operations for CHI Health and owner’s representative for Moffitt Cancer Center, joined Farris Engineering as Director of Healthcare Services. Bringing decades of experience in the healthcare field ranging from facility infrastructure to direct patient care, James will help expand Farris’ already strong portfolio within the healthcare sector. His primary focus will be collaboration with facility owners, design professionals and contractors to build partnerships and bring innovative solutions to patient care facilities.

“Farris could not be more excited to have James join our firm. With over 44 years of healthcare experience, I am thrilled to have help in developing strategic partnerships with local, regional, and national healthcare facilities,” said Farris Business Development Executive Darin Cielocha.

James is also no stranger to Farris Engineering. He oversaw the extensive renovation that created CHI Health’s Creighton University Medical Center – Bergan Mercy in Omaha, NE. Farris provided the mechanical, electrical, plumbing, life safety and lighting design services for this $105M project that received the Engineering Excellence Grand Award from the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) of Nebraska.

As a previous healthcare facility manager, James understands the needs of your facility and shares Farris’ unwavering dedication to quality, service and long-term partnerships. He looks forward to this next chapter of Bringing Your Buildings to Life.
