Hani Qassem, electrical engineer in our Omaha office, passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam. The FE exam is generally the first step in the process to becoming a professional licensed engineer. It is designed for recent graduates and students who are close to finishing an undergraduate engineering degree from an EAC/ABET-accredited program.

Hani earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in May 2021 and started his career with Farris in September 2021. He will be working on the design of electrical systems for buildings under the general guidance of one of Farris’ senior electrical engineers. Hani will gain valuable work experience at Farris and use that experience to become registered as a professional engineer.

Congrats Hani – you are one step closer to your goal of becoming a registered professional engineer!
