Carbon County Courthouse and Carbon Building

Prior to the design phase, Farris Engineering completed the mechanical, electrical and plumbing portion of the master plan
$23.6 million project included a renovation of the 39,000 sf courthouse facility, including new courtrooms, county ofﬁces, probation ofﬁce, conference spaces, public areas and holding cells
Design all-new HVAC and Plumbing equipment and distribution, new ﬁre protection and life safety system, electrical power distribution (including normal and emergency sources), completely new energy-efficient LED lighting, all-new IT infrastructure and full security system design for the facility
At the same time, our team also designed the same scope of renovations for the 63,000 sf Carbon Building which houses the remaining county ofﬁces, the city library and the Sheriff’s ofﬁce
