Farris Engineering celebrates Engineers Week with the announcement that one of its projects received the Grand Award from the American Council of Engineering Companies of Nebraska (ACEC Nebraska). Our company was recognized for engineering design for the extensive renovation that created CHI Health’s Creighton University Medical Center-Bergan Mercy.
“To Benefit and Inspire” is how the International District Energy Association described the technical, energy, and cost saving elements of Farris Engineering’s SDSU North Chiller Plant design in its 4th Quarter 2017 IDEA magazine. IDEA awarded three honorable mention awards this year to entries that demonstrated creativity in response to challenges.
Brian Howell, PE, CxA, was promoted to Mechanical Department Team Leader in Omaha in January 2018. Brian joined Farris in 2015 as a Mechanical Engineer and became a Certified Commissioning Agent in 2016. Brian has many notable achievements at Farris including providing project management on the $110 million renovation of the Bergan Mercy Medical Center into a teaching and trauma facility.
